Welcome to the home of Drummondtown Baptist Church.
We hope you enjoy your visit.

Meet Rev. William Baker
Pastor Will and Jennifer come to us from Richmond, Virginia where he received his Master of Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served a year's internship as Seminarian-Christian Education and Worship at Grace Baptist Church in Richmond. Reverend Baker also was Youth Intern with First Baptist in Richmond.
He and Jennifer were married on May 10, 2008 and they are very excited about becoming a part of Drummondtown Baptist Church and its place in our community. They now have their own home on the Eastern Shore at Drake's Landing at Gargatha.
Please join us in welcoming them to our community
and as a part of our Drummondtown Baptist Church family.

Drummondtown Baptist Updates
We now have a  page that is devoted to
information that is available to
our congregation each week.
Included here are the Prayer List, Monthly Birthdays
and any other information that is timely.

Charlie Benton, former pastor of Drummondtown Baptist Church, will be traveling to the Phillipines on Tuesday, October 26 for a Disaster Relief Mission. He recently sent us the following message:
The destruction there from typhoons that caused massive landslides is horrific. A large group of workers have been digging bodies from the rubble and earth and they need pastoral care. I will probably be teaching crisis counseling classes at the Baptist seminary in Baguio--a city in the highlands about 8 hours north of Manila. The flight is 24 hours each way and I will return on November 7th. The Baptist seminary was spared from the destruction and there was no loss of life there, but numerous members of that community lost family members--some lost several members of their family. There is currently another typhoon hovering over the northern section of the Phillipines near where I will be going, but right now the only concern is further flooding. Your prayers for these friends in the Phillipines and for me as I work with them will be appreciated.
Peace Charlie
